Known as the "Gateway to the West", Winnipeg is a railway and transportation hub with a diversified economy. French traders built the first fort, Fort Rouge, on the site in 1738, marking the establishment of Winnipeg. It was incorporated as a city in 1873.

Uptown Alley is Winnipeg’s newest Family Entertainment Centre! The 43,000 square foot facility includes 30 lanes of five-pin bowling with the latest and greatest on-lane technology, a massive arcade that includes some games that are brand new to Winnipeg, a ping-pong room where you can do battle with the paddle, and a space-themed laser tag arena that is simply out of this world and a Bistro.
